Abhijit Davare is a Research Scientist in the Strategic CAD Labs at Intel. Previously, he was with the SoC Tools and IP lab and the Platform Validation group at Intel. Abhijit received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley in 2007. He was advised by Prof. Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli and his dissertation topic was "Automated Mapping for Heterogeneous Multiprocessor Embedded Systems" . Abhijit received a M.S. in EECS from UC Berkeley in 2004 and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.

Abhijit is a recipient of 10 divisional/departmental awards at Intel, the Best Paper Award at the 2007 Design Automation Conference, and the Lim Predoctoral Prize in EECS at UC Berkeley in 2004. He has authored over 20 refereed journal and conference publications and has 4 issued patents. His interests are in the areas of embedded systems, electronic system-level design, and computer vision.
